She was incredibly passionate about the subject matter, and drew very helpful analogies to help with my understanding of the concepts. She was available to students for any questions, and she provides many and different ways of learning that are obviously planned out to help ensure the students ability to understand and succeed.

She is a truly amazing instructor who genuinely cares about student success. She responds quickly and effectively to every email and is willing to work with me when I face conflicts in the class. She is fair in her expectations for students and ensures that they have the knowledge they need.

She was fun and engaging and made you want to learn the material. She was always there for me when I needed her. She was firm but understanding. She cared about me and all the things I was going through and made sure we beat any obstacles as a team. She is a huge reason I did so well in these classes, and I was truly blessed to have her as my professor.

Professor Tracy does an excellent job at taking very complex subjects and explaining them in a way that is easy to understand. More importantly it is clear that she really cares about teaching and wants her students to succeed.

Lisa's class is incredibly organized which is super helpful in an online class. I didn't need to try to figure out each week what I needed to do. Lisa was always interested in me as a student and her genuine character showed.
Provided assignments that allowed us to engage with the material in a variety of ways. Was genuinely excited about the material herself. Explained complex concepts in ways that made them easy to understand. Was responsive and compassionate when approached with issues. Overall a fantastic instructor. This is my second degree and Lisa is up there as one of the best instructors I have ever had.
Her explanations and illustrations of topics are top notch. I love the humor in her teaching, it helps me remember her topic points

Lisa created videos, content, labs, exercises that were all very straightforward and easy to follow. It was also refreshing to see the enthusiasm and excitement she had for teaching the material. She responded promptly to any questions I had, and she had the ability to teach a challenging course in a fun and engaging manner.

Presented and explained course material very well, created learning activities that helped me got an in-depth understanding of the course material, always motivated me no matter what my test score was, that I can still do better, and suggested study strategies that did help me get a clear concept of the material.
She is the most open-minded teacher I have had at Inver Hills (and really, any college). She was always excited to teach, which made it more motivating to learn from her. She is also very good at explaining the material in different ways until the student understands. Not every teacher can do this. She is able to take something complex and simplify it to better understand. I really appreciated this! She expects a lot out of her students, but she also gives a lot to her students.
